It's not fair that the Death Eaters have much better fashion than the good guys in Harry Potter. There's a reason the Harry Potter theme park has a whole Diagon Alley section devoted to selling "dark wizard" paraphernalia and has a much slimmer (or some might say nonexistent) retail market on 19th-century-esque wizard robes. If you're a nerd like me, you probably wouldn't think twice about wearing a purple velvet coat to emulate some archetype of adult wizard streetwear, but I assure you we are not the average consumers. Most people want to look cool, and although a Death Eater t-shirt might be uncool to Harry Potter haters, it's objectively much cooler than a Hufflepuff sweater, both literally and figuratively.
If I had to pick between being an antifascist and wearing cool, black, flowy garments, I would obviously choose the latter because I'm not Peter Pettigrew. If you will reluctantly join the Order of The Phoenix despite the mediocre outfits, these Harry Potter memes might wingardium your leviosa.
