Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol in Virginia reported more than 58,000 visitors during its opening weekend last month.
The casino said it paid out more than $7.34 million in jackpot wins.
The 620,000-square-foot venue features about 1,500 slot machines, 50 gaming tables, a sportsbook, a 303-room hotel, and restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe, Council Oak Steaks & Seafood, YOUYU Asian Dining, Constant Grind, and Marketplace. It also features a Rock Shop and a 2,000-seat Hard Rock Live venue.
Originally scheduled to open in July, Hard Rock received a six-month extension. The pop-up casino is set to open in July 2023. Virginia’s sports betting volume in October was $696.1 million, a new record for the state.
Mobile wagers reached $692.2 million, while players wagered $3.9 million at retail locations. According to the Virginia Lottery report, adjusted gross revenue after player winnings was $49 million, down 13.1 percent year over year and down 25.6 percent from September’s $65.9 million. Of that total, $48.8 million came from online wagers, while retail wagers brought in $232,925.
