Riot Games just released the first major update for League of Legends: Wild Rift (Free) on all platforms today with Patch 5.0: Bright Heights bringing in new champions, reworks, new items, a new mode for the Arena, a Lunar New Year celebration, and more. League of Legends: Wild Rift patch 5.0 is the first update since October 2023. Read about that here. League of Legends: Wild Rift brings in Syndra, Talon, and Kindred into the Rift with today’s major update while Aurelion Sol gets a major update. Other reworks include Gragas, Yuumi, and Wukong. Watch the update trailer below:In terms of new events, there will be an in-game celebration of Lunar New Year with the return of the dragon featuring Dragon Lantern skins and more. There will also be events for Valentine’s Day and Ramadan in-game later on.
