At the end of the day, you'd still be paying a premium price for an 8 GB RAM laptop, which should not be acceptable. For just $300 more, you can add 10 GB more and the M3 Pro chip with a more powerful CPU and GPU, as well as a more powerful battery with about 30 hours of juice (eight more than the M3 chip).
