The Sui Foundation has officially revealed that Phantom Wallet, a top-tier non-custodial multichain cryptocurrency wallet, will integrate with the Sui network.
With 7 million monthly active users, Phantom boasts the largest on-chain wallet user base in the web3 landscape. Surpassing 560 million total on-chain transactions this year alone, Phantom is making waves with its standout features like staking, in-app token swaps, NFT storage, multichain support, and seamless Ledger hardware wallet integration. This marks a pivotal moment for the Sui network, as it becomes the first blockchain beyond Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum to gain support from this innovative wallet. Sui marks a significant milestone as the inaugural blockchain leveraging the Move language is now gaining support from Phantom.
Integrating the Sui network marks a pivotal advancement in boosting interoperability for Phantom Wallet. This move showcases how wallet providers and dApp developers are betting on a multichain future, moving beyond the confines of a single ecosystem.
“The integration of Phantom Wallet with Sui represents a giant leap for the Sui ecosystem, which now gets access to a first-class wallet experience with several features that the Sui community has been asking for,” said Jameel Khalfan, Global Head of Ecosystem at the Sui Foundation. “Phantom Wallet is selective about which chains they support, and we are proud to now be included among this notable group.”
Phantom’s integration is set to empower Sui users with a robust and secure wallet solution. It will be seamlessly accessible as a browser extension across Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave and as a mobile app for iOS and Android devices.
“We’re excited to bring Sui support to millions of Phantom users,” said Brandon Millman, CEO of Phantom. “Sui’s thoughtful approach to scalability and developer-focused solutions aligns with our commitment to high-performant blockchains. We look forward to building together and supporting their growth.”
