Yesterday was Daniel Radcliffe's 35th birthday, and it's making me feel old as heck. It feels like it was just yesterday when he was cast as the titular boy wizard and now he's winning Tony Awards and getting nominated for Emmys. If after Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, you'd have asked me which of the kids in the Harry Potter cast would've been the first to win a major acting award, I definitely wouldn't have said Danny Raddy, but he's proven to be a formidable actor outside of the wizarding world. I'm just straight-up glad he's doing well in life and that all the kids who helped bring Hogwarts (and 4 Privet Drive) to life seem to be happy, functioning members of society. So many grown-up child actors can't say the same.
